Tesco’s have awarded Hi-Level Mezzanines a contract to provide a mezzanine floor for its national distribution centre in Crick.
The site will stock Tesco’s clothing returns, where the products will be sorted and repackaged.
The mezzanine floor from Hi-Level Mezzanines comprises of two levels covering a total area of 17,000 sq. metres and has been designed to be extended by a further 8,000 sq. metres in the future. The floors incorporate five staircases, fire protection to the steelwork, two staircase enclosures, two 100 metre long fire resistant escape corridors, 7 metre long fire resistant bridge corridor from new mezzanine to existing offices and 7.5 metre long ramp from new mezzanine to an existing mezzanine floor.
