Quality Standards

At Hi-Level, superior quality lighter weight floors, incorporating unique design features, come as standard. And, thanks to the accuracy and efficiency of our computerised mezzanine floor production system (iQD), the cost is often more competitive than inferior installations.

Every Hi-Level mezzanine floor includes the latest in lightweight steel structures, high quality powder-coated ancillaries and fully integrated edge protection systems as standard.

All mezzanine floors are designed to meet the general requirements of BRE Digest 437 and all relevant British Standards, resulting in floors that are widely acknowledged to be the ultimate in terms of design, quality and finish.

All Hi-Level mezzanine floors conform to British Standards Steel Design Code of Practice, Eurocode 3 BS EN 1993-1-1:2005 (including UK National Annex) and the general requirements of the Building Regulations and BRE Digest 437.

Ancillaries such as staircases, handrails and toe plates are designed to conform to British Standards BS 5395: Parts 1 and 3: Stairs, ladders and walkways and Building Regulations Part K Stairways, ramps and guards. The design takes into account the loading category of intended use as covered by British Standards, Eurocode 1 Actions On Structures BS 1991-1-1:2002.

Hi-Level achieved renewed certification in December 2017 for ISO 9001 – Quality Management, ISO 14001 – Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001 – Occupational Health, and Safety Assessment Series.

The International Organisation for Standardisation, ISO is an independent non-government international organisation, which was established in 1946.

ISO International Standards ensure that products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality. For business, they are strategic tools that reduce costs by minimizing waste and errors and increasing productivity.

This system helps to ensure an enhancement of environmental performance, fulfilment of compliance obligations and achievement of environmental objectives.

OHSAS 18001 – Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series

Created with input from several of the world’s leading national standards bodies, certification bodies and specialist consultancies. It is intended to help an organisation control occupational health and safety risk and to have a standard by which to be assessed and certificated.

At Hi-Level we have integrated all 3 standards into our working process to create not only a quality, safe and environmentally aware product, but also a quality customer focused experience when working together.
